Today in Syria we are facing a humanitarian catastrophe in every aspect and at all levels, despite the war that has been going on for 11 years and despite the severe winter that is affecting many areas of Idlib, its rural areas and the rural areas of Aleppo, the areas are outside the control of the Syrian regime.
As with the earthquake in Syria and Turkey that left thousands dead and wounded, and the countries of the world to help by sending relief and rescue teams to Turkey,
but northern Syria, where there are many cities, no help reached at all, people are still lying under the rubble,
and there is no one to help, nor is there any help, medication or anything that helps with this difficult weather as it is snowing all the time.
And since all countries have not sent anything to northern Syria and since the tragic situation is increasing and many families are still on the streets without tents, heating, food, drink or even medicine, thousands of children are in danger of death from cold, starvation and mortal danger lead to the destroyed buildings due to the earthquake, so we, the civil society in Austria and Europe, decided to collect financial donations to appoint some people in the city of Idlib to buy children's articles, tents and food as far as we can help.
We know that more than a million people are at risk of death, including children, women and the elderly, but we join hands and offer what we can, and everyone, as much as they can, any amount, no matter how small, can help.
We are now in Syria in the most dangerous situation since the beginning of the war because thousands of families are dying of hunger and cold and we must stand up and help in this humanitarian situation that has reached a point
you can't leave by any standards.
From my position, I appeal to all people in Austria and Europe to do everything, no matter how simple, because our help today will save thousands of children and women.
I am Abdulmajid Raslan from Syria living in Austria and I am in touch with some of my family members who survived the earthquake and will help us bring help to the affected families.
